im sorry but this video was a huge let down. I primarily believe these folks in the video are not even players. You can tell by how bland and forced their "excitement" was about the game and new pieces. I mean, can we get people that actually love the game? its been 15 years since we had a new set and I for one am legit stoked. even my 18 and 19 yr old sons have more passion about the game than these guys. then the pricing?!? I was the toy manager at walmart in 2008 when aquilla alliance came out and the sets were only $9.88 for 5-6 charactors. $65 is like nonconsentual me too level ish. Inflation might be 30% but plastic is not that expensive.

Dam, can we at least print the cards to match the o.g. ?

I was so hyped for this game. Then I saw pronouns on the character sheet. That killed it for me.

This is all incredible stuff! Catering to the community and bringing awesome stuff! However my only complaint is the Wave 2 figure pricing. Terrain and water are OK. I understand why the Wave 1 Battle Box was $45 / $65, as you get terrain, characters, cards, markers, etc. but now just 4 or 5 figures and their cards is being priced out the same? This is really the first time pricing seams too high.

For the love of Guderian, when...when...oh, when will the Axis & Allies gods ever make a game of the Eastern Front???????? Even a drive on Moscow or Stalingrad or Kursk focus or supplemental addition to the game stable? I've been waiting since 1985 for an Ostkreig A&A game.... PLEASE MAKE ONE before I get too old to play these games! PLEASE.

At long last, new Scape is almost here. I started collecting after the cancellation in 2010 and went through all the ups and downs of the Haslab. Though the Kyrie are a bit meh, the scuplts are cool, but most likely won't see much use, competitively (too much D20 dependance) though they will undoubtedly all be fun casually. Seems like a repeat of the Flagbearers, where only a couple will actually see much use; likely the Aquilla one and the one with Double attack. $45 for the unpainted gives me some sticker shock, but $65 for the painted seems reasonable. The Battle Network sounds basically like a duplicate of the existing Heroscape event website, which hosts an event schedule, map gallery and a VC/classic/delta inclusive army builder.

Would love to see more of TF RPG...especially with the new material ❤ Another mini campaign would be awesome....or longer.I know DnD is popular but a lot of the same audience would enjoy UA-cam video for Essence 20 TF RPG

Interestingly enough, Power Rangers and Angel Grove does exist in the same universe as Godzilla. Maybe not this game's universe but I just wanted to share that fun fact!

Game content looks absolutely excellent, and I'm thrilled for the return of this system and universe. This presentation was a little odd; could've used any discussion of the characters beyond the most shallow reading of their rule cards, but I understand, this was more of a marketing video. Those prices are absolutely nuts. Everything but the water set is fully 3x fair pricing.

24 hex sand after 20 years of waiting is awesome, even if I don't have any feasible use for it! 😆 Those 3 hex water tiles are a solid idea too, and I appreciate that the army expansions are available as *painted* versions as well. I was worried that only the master sets/battle boxes would have painted options, but now I can rest easy. ❤

Great discussion, the momentum part really makes sense. It's quite a common theme in video game deckbuilders, it's nice to see it arrive in board games as well. You need to keep getting upgrades otherwise you'll end up falling behind and be unable to keep up! I really hope the final game will have more than what's been shown so far, 3 bosses seems a bit low? Even Aeon's end had 4 bosses and 8 heroes! I don't know how many heroes are in this box but it's unlikely to have more than 8 and even then, only 3 cards are different for each so all the playthroughs I've watched with different heroes haven't felt all that different (apart from the boss of course).

That is WAY too expensive for only five figurines. 😥😥😥😥

No reveals for the My Little Pony Deck-Building Game. The Knights of Canterlot sourcebook was announced for the My Little Pony Roleplaying Game. Pre-order for expected release in October 2024! The description says nothing about an Origin for a new playable creature type. However, with an emphasis on Canterlot this would be a good place to introduce the ponies that make up Princess Luna's personal guard: Bat Ponies! Who agrees?

Little miffed at the price for 5 figures. They used to be $40 for a whole wave … 20 fully painted figs. Now it’s 45 for 5?? Unpainted. Sounds like GW pricing models. Looks like same mistakes are being made as last time. What killed it last time was overstock of the hero packs that were buy one and done. Each case came with 3 blister packs you could buy several of…(zombies) and one hero pack that you only needed one. Stores would not open a new case till the single buy ones were gone. So now we get what looks like 2 one and done packs that costs 4x more and is inferior to the original. I will still buy it because I am a collector but y’all need to rerelease older terrain sets. Lava and Ice were toys r us only and the last box with the giant wasp never left the warehouse. Let alone the new flag bearers for factions that need them.

I think what is most exciting about this release isn't that we are getting cool new characters, but that they are listening to the community and providing products that the community really needs.
